If you walk into the Scooter99 workshop, you’ll notice something different right away. It’s not loud engines or chaos, it’s focus. The sound of a wrench locking into place, the soft rhythm of welding, the steady pace of a team that knows their craft.

Every scooter that enters our space has a story. Some come in as classics waiting to be revived, others as ideas ready to become custom builds. Whatever it is, we treat it the same way. With precision, respect, and a belief that a scooter can be both design and engineering working in harmony.
We don’t see our workshop as a hangout. It’s a home for craftsmanship and creativity, built around one purpose: making things that last. You’ll find clean benches, organized tools, and a team working with full attention. We keep distractions out so the details can shine through. In our world, a clear space equals clear results.
Each project starts with a conversation. We listen to what kind of rider you are, how you use your scooter, and what you want it to express. From there, our process begins. Shaping raw metal by hand, welding with accuracy, sanding every curve until it feels right. The painting process is more than color; it’s protection, character, and identity.
The assembly stage is where it all comes together. Every bolt, cable, and panel is checked, tested, and rechecked until the fit and function align perfectly. This is the part most people don’t see. The hours of adjustment and fine-tuning that make a scooter perform as beautifully as it looks.
We take pride in this kind of work because we believe handmade craftsmanship still matters. It’s the difference between a scooter that simply runs and one that feels alive. And that’s what keeps riders coming back. Not just from Jakarta, but from all over the world for custom scooter builds and Vespa restorations that are done right.

When a finished scooter rolls out of the Scooter99 workshop, it carries more than a fresh coat of paint or a new engine. It carries a piece of our process. Every decision, every adjustment, every hour spent making sure it’s perfect.
That’s what we stand for: honest work, thoughtful design, and results that last. At Scooter99, it’s more than just metal — it’s a reflection of who we are and the pride we take in every build.
Since each sidecar is custom handmade, production typically takes 4–6 weeks. After production, shipping time varies based on your location. We will provide you with a specific tracking number and estimated delivery date once your sidecar is shipped.
Fantastic! After placing your order, our team will contact you directly via email or phone within 1-2 business days. They will walk you through all available customisation options (colour matching, upholstery, accessories) and confirm the final specifications before production begins.
Safety is our priority. While the sidecar is professionally built, licensing requirements vary by region/country. We recommend checking with your local motor vehicle department regarding specific three-wheeled vehicle endorsements or insurance needs before purchase.
